Submit 5 mL random urine in a plastic, leak-proof container. Do not use preservatives. Mix well, if aliquotting. Exercise within 24 hr, infection, fever, congestive heart failure, marked hyperglycemia, and marked hypertension may elevate urinary albumin excretion over baseline values. |
