Water Analysis

Collection Procedure

1. Ensure to follow dialysis facility protocols when collecting water analysis specimens.
2. Collect specimen using the Trace-Metal Free Conical Tube and fill up to the Max Freeze line.
   
3. Secure lid.
4. Use the bar code label to identify the specimen.
5. Place the labeled bottle in a plastic Transport Bag with an absorbent sheet and seal shut.
6. Refrigerate at 2°- 6° C.
7. Specimens must be kept refrigerated for a minimum of 3 hours prior to shipment.
8. Specimens should be collected and shipped to the laboratory Monday through Friday only.
